Absolutely. PDR is the safest option available for automotive dent removal. With a conventional repair, the vehicle’s finish is ground down to the bare metal, dents are filled, and the panel is re-painted to match the rest of the vehicle as closely as possible. With PDR, dents are manually removed using only specialized lighting and tools – it is considered a form of fine metal “art” to skillfully massage the metal to its factory condition.
Individual door dings or dents start at $75 – prices increase for larger, deep or more complex dents. Hail damage can range from $1,000 to over $5,000. We will work with your insurance company to get you an estimate and in some cases we are able to decrease or even waive your deductible!
Claims for damages caused by natural events or “Acts of God” are not held against you, since they are unforeseeable and out of your control. But you should check with your insurer to be certain.
If your car is not declared a total loss or “salvage,” the title is still clean.
When you choose to repair your car using PDR, the damage will NOT show up on notification systems such as Carfax. However, with a conventional body shop repair, the damage may be reported to Carfax or other notification systems, which can decrease the re-sale value of your vehicle.
